Pressure Cooker Meatloaf Recipe
This post gives a delicious recipe for pressure cooker meatloaf- this is a great and healthy meal that can be cooked quickly.
Ingredients
• Ground beef- 1 ½ pound
• Egg- 1 (large)
• Onion- 1/3 rd cup (finely chopped)
• Bell pepper- ¼ cup (finely chopped)
• Dried mustard- 1 tsp
• Ketchup- 2/3rd cup
• Quaker quick oats- 1 cup
• Salt and pepper- to taste
Procedure
Place the ground beef in a large bowl. Take another bowl and blend ketchup, salt, dried mustard, pepper, and egg; mix this with the ground beef and knead by hand. Add bell pepper and onion; knead again. Add oats gradually by kneading simultaneously till the mixture is firm enough. Make small balls.
Heat a skillet on medium flame and brown the balls evenly on all sides by tossing as required. Now, remove the balls and keep it in a pressure cooker with a cooking grate. Add sufficient water and little ketchup on top of the meat balls. Once the pressure builds up, lower the heat. Let it remain for another 20 minutes. Switch off the stove and allow it to cool down. You can now open the lid to get the best pressure cooker meatloaf.
